Swegon acquires COOLMATION Ltd
Swegon AB, market leading producer and supplier of energy efficient ventilation and climate systems and the largest wholly owned company in Investment AB Latour, has signed an agreement to acquire the British Coolmation Group.
The Coolmation Group had a turnover of approximately 8 million GBP in 2012 and is one of UK’s fastest growing Chiller and Air Conditioning companies. The Coolmation group consists of three business areas including sales, service and rental.
The company is located in Ringwood in the southern part of England with four additional offices around the country and employs 70 staff.
“With 30 years of experience Coolmation is established in the UK as a reliable product and service provider of chillers and we see this acquisition as an excellent opportunity to grow in one of our prioritized markets”, says Hannu Saastamoinen CEO of Swegon. He continues; “The acquisition will increase our UK market share by providing an additional channel for sales of our Blue Box products”.
