Swegon China receives its first order

Swegon, market leader in energy efficient ventilation and climate systems, last week secured its first order in the subsidiary in China. Swegon China is situated in Shanghai and came into business earlier this year. The first order was made by Bayer Polymer Research & Development Centre in China (PRDC).

The PRDC will become a global innovation center for the company and is scheduled to be operational by the second half of 2012. The expansion is part of a EUR 1 billion investment plan announced in December 2010 and the company’s global strategy of moving closer to customers in high-growth emerging markets.

For this Research Centre Bayer choose Swegon PARASOL Comfort Modules and PACIFIC climate units for its indoor climate solution. All in all it is about 100 units sold and delivery will take place in October 2012. Swegons Country Manager in China, Andreas Engström says; “We are very excited about this order. It is a confirmation that our energy efficient systems and solutions suit the demands of the market and it is a first step on our way to become an important player on the Chinese market.”
