Aarhus Motion and Systematic extend sponsorship for Systematic TestRun 16K

Systematic TestRun 16K, which should have taken place on May 12th, has been cancelled. But there is some good news: Aarhus Motion and Systematic have decided to extend their sponsorship agreement until 2023.

For the second time in a row, Aarhus Motion and Systematic had been planning a big running event around Brabrandsøen for Systematic TestRun 16K. Due to the Corona virus, this year's race has been cancelled, but the organizers have chosen to continue with the cooperation and look forward to welcoming runners again in 2021.

The race starts at Systematic's Headquarters on Søren Frichs Vej and takes the participants on a 16-kilometre tour around Brabrandsøen, a lake located in Systematic’s backyard. And this is not unknown terrain for running enthusiast and Recruiting Specialist at Systematic, Katrine Rasmussen:

“Me and some colleagues from Systematic often run together in the area after work. The nature here is beautiful and it is a great way to hang out with your colleagues outside of work. I think it is wonderful that we have been able to extend our contract with Aarhus Motion, even though this year’s race has been cancelled” she says.

In 2019, Katrine ran the 16 kilometres alongside 700 other participants. The race was originally intended as a test run for those who have signed up for marathons, but everyone is welcome regardless of their level of experience.

“Systematic TestRun 16K is a great opportunity to challenge yourself on a beautiful and flat route. Whether you want to test your endurance before some of the longer races, or if it is the first time in a year that you are in your running shoes, you are welcome to the Systematic TestRun 16K ”, adds Katrine.
