TerraNet’s Technologies on Display at Mobile World Congress 2016
TerraNet Lund, Sweden- a world leader of proximity aware solutions has proudly collaborated with Qualcomm Atheros, Inc. to demonstrate Wi-Fi-based context aware connectivity at Mobile World Congress 2016. Last week inside of Qualcomm’s public booth in Hall 3, TerraNet’s Wi-Fi based proximity solutions running on Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. mobile platforms were on display.
Proximal connectivity enables new paradigms and use cases for smartphones, tablets, PCs and IOT devices. Consumers can now automatically discover users and services, based on context and proximity and seamlessly exchange pictures, videos, and other media in a standardized and power efficient way, utilizing variety of wireless technologies including GPS (location), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and LTE-Direct. A whole new class of emerging social, commercial and gaming experiences are now on the horizon thanks to proximal connectivity services.
