Global Wellness Day supported by Naturist Association Thailand
Naturist Association Thailand joins health and wellness associations in over 70 countries world wide in supporting the Global Wellness Day on Monday 13 June 2015.
Global Wellness Day is a non-profit project created by Belgin Aksoy three years ago based on the simple intention of increasing global consciousness of living a better life, even if it’s just for one day, by drawing a focus on healthier lifestyle choices.
Naturist Association Thailand has for many years maintained that pure nudism has a healing effect on stress and improves body image and well-being.
"It would be great if Spa and Wellness institutions in Thailand would notice that we as naturists and nudists support this initiative," says Gregers Moller of Naturist Asociation Thailand.
"Maybe our backing of this initiative would lead to more spas embracing nudism as a therapy or adding nudism to their existing treatments," he adds.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number one health problem in the world is depression – a condition, which is linked to sleeplessness, stress and obesity - and not a virus or a disease.
The campaign challenges people to change one aspect of their lives for a day and outlines seven steps to better wellness: What will you say “yes” to today?
- Drink more water
- Walk for an hour
- Shop locally & eat organically
- Stop using plastic bottles
- Do a good deed
- Eat a family dinner
- Go to bed at 10pm
Naturist Association Thailand would like to add to the list:
- Be naked more of your time
