THE WORLD’S FIRST ABSOLUT BRAND STORE DEBUTS AT KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

ABSOLUT is proud to present a new spectacular flagship store in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) — the first of its kind in the history of the brand.

The ABSOLUT brand store is located in the new cutting edge lifestyle and shopping experience area in the expansive KLIA, a key hub in the thriving Asia Pacific region. Operated by leading Malaysian Duty Free operator Eraman Duty Free, the new lifestyle shopping scene features leading fashion, cosmetics and luxury brands. ABSOLUT is the only spirits brand to open an exclusive store in this new innovative shopping area.

The ABSOLUT Brand Store is an important initiative in the quest to create next generation shopping arenas in the global duty free/travel retail market — scenes with the potential of achieving increased sales in combination with more intense and exciting shopping experiences, as well as with image building and consumer-relation strengthening effects.

On entry into the 45 square-meter ABSOLUT Brand Store, shoppers are greeted by an ABSOLUT host before exploring a number of exciting attractions. In the center is the ABSOLUT bespoke bar, a piece of art in its own right. New digital innovations are delivered through projection mapping which catches the imagination of the traveller. An ABSOLUT Drinkspiration display offers exciting cocktails for travellers to experience in an inspiring and dynamic lounge area.

Kuala Lumpur is a key hub in an important and fast growing market for ABSOLUT — a market also distinguished by its exceptionally international mix of travellers. The partner Eraman Duty Free has a long and successful brand building history with Pernod Ricard. Thus, the choice of venue is strategic as well as being based on an excellent relationship.
