TOKYO, Japan - Aug. 6, 2020 - Tobu Railway Co, Ltd. announces the Thursday, July 9, 2020 opening of the AC Hotel by Marriott Tokyo Ginza. This experiential lifestyle leisure and business hotel is for travelers who appreciate both value for money and immersive cultural experience. Located in the heart of Tokyo's busy Ginza shopping district, the hotel offers a combination of quality, timeless European design, comfort, and authenticity with an urban modern mindset. The stylish design, high quality amenities, seamless space, and subtle lighting stimulate the senses enhancing the guest experience.

This first AC Hotel in Japan joins this popular North American brand's now 155 hotels in 20 countries and regions in North and South America and Europe. The hotel's AC Lounge® offers a sense of openness that is further enhanced with contemporary art featuring the cityscape of Ginza. The 296 guest rooms feature large windows and a natural color natural scheme providing a feeling of relaxing luxury that makes the guests feel at home.

Food and Beverage Facilities

AC Kitchen's breakfast buffet presents AC's signature menu including ham, croissants and inspired coffee. At AC Kitchen, ingredients are thoughtfully picked. The restaurant also offers modern, pre-fixed lunch with a touch of Japan, creating the exclusive menu fusing Japanese elements unique to Ginza.

Countermeasures against the Novel Coronavirus

AC Hotel Bay Marriott Tokyo Ginza Hotel is taking all possible measures to prevent infection and spread of the virus, so that all staff and guests feel safe and can enjoy the hotel experience:

*Employee temperature measurement, required employee mask wearing, frequent employee hand washing

*Installation of hand sanitizer stations

*Installation of acrylic partitions in select locations throughout the hotel

*Restricted number of elevator users

*Social distance signage in areas where queues will form.

*Installation of a guide in the fitness gym encouraging disinfection after use

*Elimination of buffet-style breakfast
