Tokyo and Around Tokyo: Discover Japan’s Dazzling Winter Lights with TOBU’s Digital Ashikaga Flower Park Illumination Ticket
Travellers can now enjoy one of Japan’s most celebrated winter attractions – Ashikaga Flower Park’s “Hikari no Hana no Niwa (‘The Garden of Illuminated Flowers’)” illumination – with TOBU’s new Digital Illumination Ticket, available on KKday from 15 November 2025 to 15 February 2026. The ticket bundles a discounted Tobu Railway round-trip fare with a discounted night-time admission, offering a convenient option for international visitors. The illumination itself runs from 18 October 2025 to 15 February 2026, showcasing the park’s signature illuminated wisteria and large-scale seasonal light installations, with night-time entry from 15:30.
The digital ticket can be purchased and presented easily on a smartphone and is valid for travel from designated Tobu stations to the Ashikaga area. Travellers can access the region smoothly via Tobu Railway services from Asakusa in around 80 minutes, with onward transfers to Ashikaga-shi or Sano stations for the illumination visit. The experience can be combined with sightseeing in nearby Ashikaga or Sano before or after the event.
Please note: although the illumination begins on 18 October, the digital ticket is valid from 15 November. The ticket is not valid on 31 December, when the park is closed.
