Land expansion
Grain Alliance is expanding the cultivated area with 2000 hectares, primarily in the Poltava region, but also in the Chernigov region. This moderate expansion is part of the Company’s focus on profitability before size. This strategy does not allow expansion on the expense of profitability.
Grain Alliance is currently involved in large undertakings with expansion of the elevator capacity and enhancing the dryers, plus adding several new pieces of equipment. The profitability and efficiency are among the highest and best in the region during 2011. It is however important to sustain these profits, therefore the board has decided to keep a moderate land expansion pace and perfect the operational efficiency.
