ÅF Green Day 2015 gathered experts

During an intense afternoon, representatives from the industry, government and authorities gathered for ÅF Green Day in Solna. The theme was "Driving Sustainable development through Connectivity".

ÅF Green Day 2015 was held on October 6 in Solna on the theme "Driving Sustainable development through Connectivity". After the welcome and introduction by Jonas Wiström and Nyamko Sabuni, Heidi Huusko, Programme Manager, Environment and Climate, UN Global Compact, gave a brief presentation on the topic "15 years since the Millennium Development Goals - what now?". Then the conversation around four key topics started:

  • What challenges do the new goals entail?
  • What role does the Internet and the telecommunications industry play in meeting the global challenges?
  • How will future sustainable transport develop?
  • What drives profitable, sustainable business?
