ÅF is nominated for the Construction Project of the Year 2016

Construction Project of the Year is the infrastructure planning sector’s most prestigious competition and is a collaboration between the publication Byggindustrin and the company Svensk Byggtjänst. ÅF has been nominated for the reconstruction of two bridges in Rotebro, Sweden.

The winner will be announced on 9 March 2016.

The nominated project is the reconstruction of two bridges in Rotebro, a project in which the Swedish Transport Administration was the client and NCC was the general contractor. The assignment was to build two new bridges at one of the country’s busiest hubs, where the E4 motorway and Ostkustbanan railway meet, without affecting accessibility.

ÅF was involved as planners in the areas of roadways, water and sewer, and earthwork. The project began in 2011.

It has since been completed with a good outcome. See the links below for more information.
