Allianz's Tony Newman responds to increase in Claims Management Companies fees
Allianz's head of motor claims, Tony Newman commented:
"The fact of the matter is that regulation has to be funded and it’s an operating cost many businesses have to cover. The new fees are scaled and were set too low and the consequence has been insufficient regulatory control that left the consumer exposed. A better regulated more professional market that protects consumers should be welcomed."
