Allianz's Tony Newman responds to the Justice Committee report

“The logic appears to be flawed in today’s report because the Small Claims Track limit for non-injury claims is currently £10,000. Relatively minor injury claims are straightforward and the fact is other types of claimants have not been fettered by a higher SCT limit than the £5,000 currently being proposed for injury. The insurance industry deals with many direct claimants quickly and fairly who retain 100% of their compensation."
