Press release -
Petplan Veterinary Awards 2025 to be held in London for first time
Petplan, the UK’s leading pet insurance provider, has confirmed that the highly-anticipated Petplan Veterinary Awards 2025 will be held in London for the first time.
The prestigious event, often referred to as the ‘Oscars’ of the veterinary world, will take place on Thursday, 20 November 2025 at the ExCeL London during London Vet Show, which attracts more than 7,000 veterinary delegates each year.
Nominations for the Petplan Veterinary Awards will be open from 12 May – 12 September 2025 as Petplan seeks to honour outstanding individuals in vet practice teams including vets, nurses, receptionists and support staff. The awards provide a platform for pet owners and veterinary colleagues to show their gratitude and recognition for those who provide an outstanding service to ensure the health and wellbeing of pets.
Jo Maclennan, Director of Trading at Petplan, said: “Having celebrated 25 years of these esteemed awards, we are excited to embark on a new chapter. Last year, we received over 38,000 nominations, highlighting the widespread appreciation for the incredible work veterinary teams do helping the nations pets.
“As the UK’s no.1 pet insurer we see on a daily basis the efforts undertaken to keep animals healthy and these awards give pet owners and veterinary colleagues alike an opportunity to say thank you to those who consistently go above and beyond.”
