Alma and SF Management acquire 452-unit residential property in Copenhagen

Alma Property Partners (“Alma”) and SF Management (“SF”) have agreed to acquire Torveporten Umeus Valby (“Torveporten”), a recently completed micro-living property comprising 452 apartments in Valby, Copenhagen, from Urban Partners.

Completed in 2024, Torveporten comprises approximately 15,200 sqm across the residential units and complementary commercial space. The property is fully leased and holds DGNB Gold certification and an EPC A energy rating.

The property offers extensive shared amenities, including a roof terrace, work and study areas, community kitchens, a cinema and event space, laundry facilities, and an on-site fitness center operated by a third party. It forms part of the transformation of the former Grønttorvet wholesale market into a well-connected mixed-use neighborhood.

Valby is one of Copenhagen’s established residential districts, with direct public transportation connections to the city center and access to retail, green areas and local amenities. The acquisition reflects Alma and SF’s continued conviction in the Copenhagen residential market, supported by population growth, constrained new supply, and sustained demand for modern rental housing.
