Filippa Strandänger is the new Chief Sustainability Officer at Alma Property Partners

The Nordic property investment company Alma Property Partners makes a strategic recruitment and hires Filippa Strandänger as Chief Sustainability Officer.

Filippa Strandänger joined Alma at the beginning of October and has over ten years of experience with a focus on sustainability and sustainable investments. She was most recently head of sustainability at Magnolia Bostad and before that she was the head of advisory within Sustainable Finance Services at KPMG Sweden and held various sustainability-related roles at Nordea.

‟It feels fantastic to be able to welcome Filippa to Alma Property Partners. Our ambition is to be the leading Nordic real estate fund manager, and Filippa's experience and expertise within sustainability will be critical in our work towards achieving that goal," says Sloan Wobbeking, founder and CEO of Alma Property Partners.

Alma has taken important steps in its sustainability strategy in recent years and reports to both the UN-sponsored Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the global ESG benchmarking organization GRESB. There is still much to develop and improve and Filippa will lead the ongoing sustainability work with support from the entire organization.

‟Alma's commitment to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from our properties in line with the Paris Agreement lays the foundation for our value creation and forms an integral part of our investment process. The recruitment of Filippa makes us even sharper and gives us the opportunity to accelerate our commitments," says Stefan Albinsson, Partner and Head of Asset Management at Alma Property Partners.

‟Being able to be part of and accelerate the sustainable transition within real estate investments and future-proofing our funds is incredibly motivating. Together with Alma's ambitions to be a leader, our progress in environment, climate, social responsibility and business ethics is crucial. I see it as an incredible opportunity to drive the sustainability work together with our competent organization and hopefully we can inspire others," says Filippa Strandänger, recently appointed Chief Sustainability Officer at Alma Property Partners.

Alma Property Partners is currently finalizing the capital raising for its third real estate fund with a pan-Nordic, opportunistic strategy.
