East London NHS Older People's Care Conference

Amanda Waring was delighted to be invited to speak at the East London Older People's Care Conference on Monday the 26th of November.   With a packed conference centre of keen and enthusiastic caring staff, Amanda delivered a thought-provoking session to all who attended.

Joined by professionals leading the way in occupational care in the London community celebrating best practice and innovation, Amanda took to the floor during the morning session, sharing her award winning film 'What Do You See' starring Virginia McKenna OBE and reminding staff to take good care themselves as well as taking care of the elders in their care.

Amanda found it to be one of the most enjoyable conference experiences for her, because of the involvement of elders at the conference, with their stories, anecdote and musical performances.  She added 'I am so pleased to have been involved with the East London NHS Older People's Care Conference and never before have I felt so welcomed'.

Information about Amanda's forthcoming appearances and training resources can be found through visiting her website www.amandawaring.com or by contacting booking agents, Mindseye Management on 07816 946633.
