Press release -

New Website for Anglian Home Improvements

Norwich, UK, January 20th, 2011 – 2011 sees the launch of a new customer-focused website for market-leading home improvements brand Anglian Home Improvements (formerly known as Anglian Windows but now offering a greatly expanded range of products).

The website, developed by Leeds digital agency Bloom Media, offers a photography-led design, introduces several new features to improve usability and showcases the company’s extensive range of products with a quick navigation experience.

Bloom Media’s Creative Director, Matt Martin, explained: “Bloom have been working with Anglian Home Improvements for over two years. Once our SEO campaign had really started driving serious traffic, we noticed the website was not converting the visitors as well as we would expect. The aim of the new site was to create a much richer visual experience that made enquiring about Anglian products as easy as possible.”

In addition to providing the latest news on the company’s promotions such as the Trade-In Scheme, Anglian have introduced Step-by-Step guides so that potential customers can gain a better understanding of what each project will entail.

Chris Neville, Head of Direct and Database Marketing for Anglian Home Improvements, said: “We noticed some time ago that our existing website was looking rather tired and I was determined that we could greatly improve the visitor experience and increase ROI by totally re-designing it. Working closely with the team at Bloom, we have re-structured the whole site to provide both a high-level of technical information and greatly improved navigation whilst also providing the imagery required to showcase our products. Quite simply, at Anglian, we are very proud of the quality and range of our products and we really wanted to show them off to customers in the best possible light. Since the launch of the new site, we are seeing improvements far above our initial forecasts and, whilst a website can never be considered finished, we are confident that continuing to work with Bloom will enable us to maintain and further improve a robust, customer-friendly and very productive site.”

Visitor numbers to the Anglian website have been growing significantly over the past two years and whether looking for more information on UPVC doors, conservatories or double glazing, the company plans to make the online and offline process as smooth as possible for customers.
