Leo Bentley has been included in Private Client Practitioner's Top 35 Under 35 2011

Top 35 Under 35 is designed to identify, recognise, promote and introduce the rising stars of the profession and so it seems only fair that Leo is included. He was made junior partner in a four partner Surrey based firm at the age of 26 before joining Baker Tilly’s Guildford office in 2007, where he rapidly progressed to Associate Director in 2010 and appointed group manager of the office Private Client team in April 2011.

Leo is responsible for one of the largest Private Client teams in Baker Tilly and services a portfolio of approximately 240 clients whilst managing to support his co-workers with their clients. Leo advises on all aspects of UK taxation and specialises in working with unincorporated businesses and, in particular, partnerships. Leo has a particular interest in ‘hybrid structures’ and sits on Baker Tilly’s National Business Tax sub-group and leads the sector of the business in the Southern Region for the firm.

Leo says, “It’s all about relationship building; being personable and knowledgeable, without being overly technical, is vital to quickly building a trust-based relationship.”
