BECOME TAMAGOTCHI’S FAVOURITE SHOPKEEPER IN TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA: OUT NOW!
27 June 2025 – Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe releases today Tamagotchi Plaza for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The legacy of Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series continues with this latest entry by offering players fun mini games to play in quirky and unique shops at the service of cute Tamagotchi.
Players must help Prince Tamahiko turn Tamahiko town into a bustling place fit to host the festival, by opening, upgrading shops and servicing more than 100 Tamagotchi! The Personal Training Gym, the Galette Shop, the Eyewear Shop or the Afternoon Tea Shop, and many other establishments each bring their own wholesome design and gameplay that players will recognize as staples of the franchise while discovering new entertaining ones. Tamagotchi Plaza on Nintendo Switch 2 offers three additional shops making the most of the new console’s mouse controls for players to try out.

Nintendo Switch 2 players who already own the original Switch version of Tamagotchi Plaza can access the exclusive content by purchasing the Tamagotchi Plaza Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade pack.
Both versions of the game are compatible with the Tamagotchi Uni* device, allowing players to obtain exclusive items through the connection between the toy and the game.
Tamagotchi Plaza is available now for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
