EGX returns to London and Birmingham in 2025
TUESDAY 27 MAY 2025: ReedPop is excited to announce that EGX will return in 2025 with fan-favourite video game experiences at MCM Comic Con London this October at London’s Excel, and MCM Comic Con Birmingham in November at the NEC.
EGX’s return to Birmingham is especially notable, as fans have been clamouring for the video game convention to come back to the NEC since it moved to London in 2019.
EGX is committed to supporting independent game developers and the wider video game industry as a whole. From the Indie Game Summit to the Career Fair, EGX brings publishers, developers and future talent together, empowering them to share their expertise and connect with each other.
EGX will also be packed with engaging content for gamers of all kinds, such as the indie-focussed Rezzed Zone and Leftfield Collection, the Arena competitive gaming stage, and world-renowned exhibitors and celebrity guests from the world of video games.
“We’re excited to return to London this October for the ultimate pop culture and gaming experience, and to finally bring EGX back to Birmingham, by popular demand,” said Event Director at Reedpop, Kahlil Schweitzer.

MCM Comic Con is the ultimate celebration of pop and geek culture, making it the perfect host for EGX. The show will feature a full schedule of celebrity guests, insightful panels and unforgettable experiences across movies, television, comics, gaming and more.
The convention will return to Excel London from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th October, before heading to the NEC in Birmingham from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th November.
