Legendary Polish power Jan Błachowicz takes command in World of Tanks Blitz
Celebrations coming to the game for its 11thanniversary
Warsaw, June 18th 2025 – World of Tanks Blitz brings out the big guns, introducing the former UFC light heavyweight champion and the NEW Polish ambassador – Jan Błachowicz. With over 40 fights on his record and multiple titles to his name, the legendary Polish power is set to dominate a completely new battlefield of tank warfare.

Jan Błachowicz is a veteran MMA fighter still ranked among the best brawlers in his division. Former international KSW and UFC light heavyweight champion of the world, he is a force to be reckoned with. Outside of the octagon, Jan is an avid gamer and an active member of the gaming community.

11 years of fast-paced tank combat
World of Tanks Blitz, a game that has been downloaded by more than 180 000 000 of players all around the world is set to celebrate its 11thanniversary. For the next month, players on mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and PC will be able to acquire a plethora of special in-game rewards from tanks to camos and loads more.
This anniversary party is set to be bigger than ever, starting with a major prize for all Blitz players – everyone logging in before July 6th will claim their unique festive container. Veteran tankers are in for a treat as the older their account, the bigger the loot inside.
Additionally, players who’ll log in between June 20thand July 4th will get to participate in Blitz Fest Event with brand-new Tiger-Maus tank as a reward. Tanker that’ll manage to complete any of the event’s paths will get a free Tier VIII Bisonte C45 tank. Finally, from June 26 through July 13 everyone playing the game will get their hands on the Turbo Collector tank with the Firestorm Legendary camo. And there are even more surprises waiting inside the game.
