Sheffield, UK – 25 November 2025: Upcoming nostalgic football deckbuilder NUTMEG! Is doing good on and off the pitch. Today, developer Sumo Sheffield and publisher Secret Mode are announcing that every single copy sold will benefit two well-deserving charities in the footballing world.

Both the Joey Beauchamp Foundation and the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund will receive £0.05 each from every sale of NUTMEG! until November 2027. Both charities honour the legacy of the legendary footballers they are named for, working primarily in their local communities.

Named in honour of former Oxford United player Joey Beauchamp, The Joey Beauchamp Foundation aims to address the pressing need for mental health support and awareness within the Oxfordshire community via collaboration and community engagement.

“Joey had a gift for bringing people together through football,” says Stuart Crook, Director of the Joey Beauchamp Foundation. “This partnership with NUTMEG! celebrates that connection — turning passion for the game into positive impact for mental health.”

The Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund, established by his family and managed by Shropshire Community Foundation, is dedicated to celebrating Dalian’s lifelong passion for sports and its positive impact on the community. Working across Telford and Wrekin, the aim of the fund is to inspire young people to actively participate in sports, fostering their growth and well-being.

"It’s amazing to see NUTMEG! supporting the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund,” says Paul Atkinson, brother of Dalian Atkinson. “Football was Dalian’s passion, and this partnership helps keep his spirit alive while inspiring young people in the community. We’re grateful to Sumo Sheffield and Secret Mode for turning the love of the game into real impact."

NUTMEG! is a game close to my heart, and I am very pleased that it can also be a force for good,” says James Schall, Chief Publishing Officer at Secret Mode. “The Joey Beauchamp Foundation and the Dalian Atkinson Legacy Fund are fantastic charities that will be doing brilliant work in their communities, and we’re thrilled to be supporting both organisations with every sale of our game.”

NUTMEG! will launch on PC in 2026. A free Matchday Experience demo is available on Steam now.
