Press release -

Make or Break for the chasing pack in Montreal as Vettel continues to race away.

With only 6 races gone in the Formula One season Sebastian Vettel already has a huge lead at the top of the leader board. His lead grew to an incredible 58 points after victory at Monaco and this has made him the sure favourite with BetClic, pricing the German at 1.15 to win the Driver’s Championship.

The Canadian Grand Prix is up next on Sunday and Vettel deserves his position as favourite and if it not certain yet surely a win in Montreal would make Vettel unreachable at the top of the standings. Vettel is priced at 2.10, with BetClic, to grab his sixth win in the first seven races in Canada. Hamilton will be desperate to close the huge gap and 25 points at Canada would certainly give the British driver a massive boost but it is a tough task, priced at 3.75 to win on Sunday with BetClic.com.

This sort of lead has only been seen once in recent years, from Jenson Button, who was crowned as Champion in the same season, so the German driver must feel confident of Championship victory unless the chasing pack can start clawing back the deficit straight away, starting in Montreal.

Odds from BetClic.com for the Canadian Grand Prix and the Driver’s Championship:

Canadian Grand Prix:
Vettel  2.10
Hamilton  3.75
Webber  6.00
Alonso  7.00
Button  10.00

Driver’s Championship:
Vettel  1.15
Hamilton  8.00
Alonso  15.00
Webber  25.00
Button  25.00
