Pay your invoices online using your credit card
Billhop, a Swedish web service that allows individuals and businesses to pay bills with debit and credit cards directly online, was launched today.
1.4 billion bills are distributed each year in Sweden. The majority of them are paid through internet banking, whilst some are still paid over the counter1. Billhop is a new web service which makes it safe and easy to pay bills online using your card. Users can therefore take advantage of the benefits their credit card has to offer, even when paying their bills.
“It’s obvious that you should be able to pay your bills using your card in the same way as when directly purchasing goods and services. We see significant opportunities to improve and simplify the way bills are handled today, and are already working on many tools that will make our service even broader”, explains Lars Martin Norviit, one of the founders of Billhop.
Billhop has no fixed fees. The user simply pays a 3.5% fee, based on the sum of the transaction.
