The German manufacturer Metawell GmbH offers its facade elements and radiant ceilings as BIM objects.

Metawell GmbH based in Neuburg Germany is a leading developer and manufacturer of sandwich panels made out of aluminum. With its products Metawell®, Metawell® Aluflex, Metawall® and MetaCore® offer a very lightweight, but still extremely rigid sandwich panel system.

From today on architects and planners can download and use the digital design objects

(BIM objects) of the product lines, Metawall® -curtain and ventilated facades and Metawell® radiant ceilings. The BIM objects are available for ArchiCAD and Revit and downloadable from the bimobject.com portal. Supported by the smartness of BIMobject® a BIM user can use the portals new communication system BIMail™ to contact Metawell’s construction office to get further technical support. BIMail™ even works inside Revit with the BIMobject® APP, so Metawell gets connected closely to the endusers and BIM professionals.

With BIMobject® as a partner and publisher of the Metawell BIM objects the innovative producer will come in contact with more than 35,000 BIM users who monthly visit the portal looking for high-quality 3D content for their BIM process. The Metawell BIM objects helps the designer to understand how to build, configure and use Metawell products in the building design creating higher quality of the documentation and reducing errors and problems like clashes.
