All reserved at phase one of BoKlok on the Lake, Worthing

The first phase of homes at BoKlok on the Lake in Worthing are now all reserved. First-time buyers from the local area have been the main purchasers.

Since the homes were first released in the latter half of last year, the collection of one and two-bedroom apartments have enjoyed strong appeal. Nearly 70% of the homes were reserved, off-plan at the sales launch in November 2021, with the last few remaining homes reserved shortly after.

With a focus on local, first time buyers, it is always the aim for BoKlok to make homeownership more accessible to more people. In phase one at BoKlok on the Lake, 91% of purchasers were first time buyers, 91% were local to the area* and 75% accessed the government ‘Help to Buy’ scheme, to assist them in their purchase.

Set alongside Somerset Lake in Worthing, the homes will be set around a ‘green heart’ landscape centrepiece, creating a parkland setting, which the whole community will be able to access and enjoy.

All of the homes are highly specified and enjoy spacious, open-plan living spaces, IKEA bathrooms and kitchens and integrated appliances. Each apartment has dedicated parking and electric car charging points are available throughout the development. A series of measures have also been introduced to help future homeowners reduce both their energy consumption and fuel bills, including air source heart pumps, enhanced insulation, Argon gas-filled double glazing and water-saving taps, showers, and toilets.

Future phases of BoKlok in Worthing will be released, but the date is not yet set. Those interested in securing a future home are encouraged to register their interest now to ensure they are one of the first to hear.
