    VerkehrsRundschau award for BPW’s Political Education training programme

    At BPW, apprentices learn far more than just a profession – for example, they also organise political discussion groups and hold their own meetings in Wiehl’s town hall. This is all thanks to the company’s own Political Education programme. In honour of this extraordinary commitment, BPW has now been awarded the VerkehrsRundschau award in the ‘Apprenticeships and Further Training’ category.

    New study: BPW ranks among the top one per cent of German employers

    BPW Bergische Achsen KG has been ranked by respected institutes and media firms as one of Germany’s top employers and training providers for years. A further study has now confirmed that the family-owned company is among the top one per cent for quality as an employer, following an analysis of around 70,000 companies for the title of ‘Leading Employer 2019’.

    BPW to use robots in vocational and professional training

    As one of the innovation leaders of the transport industry, BPW dovetails its know-how in IT and mechatronics closely with its vocational training. As a result, BPW was given the distinction of being one of the “Best Companies for vocational training in Germany” in March. Now the company is taking its vocational training and staff qualifications to the next level by adding a robotics branch.

    BPW trainees host political discussion – education system in need of reform

    Is Germany’s dual work-study system a flagship or a rust bucket? This was the question posed by education and business experts in Engelskirchen on 14 September. The trainees of BPW Bergische Achsen KG in Wiehl hosted the evening with presentations and a series of short video interviews conducted among themselves.

    FOCUS Award: BPW ranks among the top employers in 2017

    The news magazine FOCUS has again determined the best employers in Germany. A grand total of more than 100,000 employer assessments were received in response to a survey by Hamburg statistics company Statista, a survey of Xing members and based on kununu employer assessments.
