Apollo Inception Critique Famous Entrepreneurs’ definition of Success

This week, the new and exciting Middlesborough-based company brought their team of sales and marketing specialists together to talk about the concept of success, discussing different definitions employed by some of the most “successful” entrepreneurs in the world.

Having publicly launched earlier this year, Apollo Inception - who primarily focus their efforts on increasing and maximising their clients’ brand, sales and customer base - are keen to provide motivational meetings for their entire workforce from the offset. Furthermore, the firm offer an insightful business development program to contractors in the interest of supporting the entrepreneurial ambitions of all new recruits.

Apollo Inception: About the firm.

As steadfast advocates of entrepreneurship, the outsourced sales and marketing specialists most have been reviewing what the world’s most famous entrepreneurs define as ‘success’ in a recent team meeting.

1. Richard Branson

In a candid LinkedIn post the founder of the Virgin Group wrote: "Too many people measure how successful they are by how much money they make or the people that they associate with…In my opinion, true success should be measured by how happy you are." Apollo Inception began the meeting with this quote from Branson, eager to hammer home how real, honest happiness should remain at the top of any entrepreneur’s list of priorities when aiming for the ‘ultimate success’.

2. Mark Cuban

Citing an interview the billionaire and Shark Tank judge gave to Steiner Sports, Apollo Inception read Mark Cuban’s simplistic definition of success: "To me, the definition of success is waking up in the morning with a smile on your face, knowing it's going to be a great day. I was happy and felt like I was successful when I was poor, living six guys in a three-bedroom apartment, sleeping on the floor." In an effort to reiterate the importance of happiness within success, the company spokesperson leading the meeting eluded to Cuban’s words, explaining how success goes hand in hand with being grateful for the simple successes of everyday life.

3. Bill Gates

As the wealthiest person on the planet and with a net worth of approximately $86 billion, Apollo Inception decided to wrap their meeting up with some words of wisdom from arguably the most successful human alive today. In a Reddit AMA Gates referenced the words of an equally as iconic and globally successful entrepreneur, stating: “Warren Buffett has always said the measure [of success] is whether the people close to you are happy and love you.” He added: “It is also nice to feel like you made a difference — inventing something or raising kids or helping people in need."

The sales and marketing specialists hope these definitions of success can serve as inspiration for their hard working and ambitious team of contractors, both day to day when out in the field as well as in achieving their long term goals.

Implementing the freshest ideas in the industry, Apollo Inception is an exciting and innovative marketing company that link businesses to their consumers.
