Common Graduate Concerns Addressed by AtlasCorp

As graduate season fast approaches and a new wave of ambitious professionals hit the job market, AtlasCorp is opening up about common concerns among this demographic, and the steps they are taking to offer exciting, progressive opportunities to graduates.

AtlasCorp: About the firm

In 2017, more 18-year-olds in England applied for full-time undergraduate study than in any previous year and with the 2018 graduate season fast approaching, thousands of young professionals are soon set to enter the working world. With at least £27,000 in student debt behind them, graduates today don’t have it that easy as they join the fiercely competitive job market.

As a result of high student loans, the competitive nature of job seeking together with high costs of living, many graduates enter the job market with concerns. In a recent survey of 1200 graduates about what they are most worried about when graduating, OnRec, uncovered some interesting findings.Included in these findings were the three most significant worries that graduates have when leaving University.33% are concerned about not having a rewarding job once they graduate, 29% about maintaining a right work-life balance and 25% are worried about not being able to afford the things they want in life.

Graduates are looking for roles that they can progress in and form a career, and if this doesn’t happen, they will happily leave to a different company. A study by Robert Walters found that Millennials seek out companies where they can progress, with 68% stating that a role with growth opportunities is the essential motivator when working.

Sheffield-based, professional direct marketing company, AtlasCorp is working to defeat these concerns, through its business development opportunities. The business boasts a culture of reward and progression opportunities that help graduates to build their success in the industry, which addresses graduate concerns about not having a rewarding role. AtlasCorp addresses the concerns of maintaining a work-life balance by ensuring there is a variety of business and play with companywide holidays and activities focused on the interests of the AtlasCorp family. With uncapped earning potentials due to their competitive commission structures, those who gain experience alongside AtlaCorp are not worried about not being able to afford the things they want.

For graduates looking for excellent progression opportunities with a supportive and inclusive company in the sales and marketing industry, they should send their CV to AtlasCorp at info@atlascorp.co.uk.
