Credico volunteers for 5th year running at Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon

On June 24th 2017, Credico USA will be volunteering for their 5th consecutive year at the Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon, the largest single day of community service in Chicago.

Chicago Cares is a non-profit organization that mobilizes volunteers to build a stronger, more unified Chicago. In addition to 200 volunteer projects happening every month, Chicago Cares organizes the city’s largest day of service every summer. 5,000 volunteers are spread out all across the city to renovate schools, work in community gardens, serve meals to seniors, and much more.

At Credico, ‘giving back’ to the community is an important aspect of companaxy culture, and the Chicago Cares Serve-a-thon provides their employees with the perfect opportunity to get involved in an initiative that brings hope and happiness to Chicago.

As with each year, the Credico team from the Near West Side District is committed to spending their Saturday helping Chicago Public Schools in under-served areas. Credico team members will be painting, landscaping, building, and cleaning to help make elementary schools across the City of Chicago a better, more welcoming place when the students return to school in August.

“We are delighted and very humbled that we can participate in an event that is a catalyst for long-term change in our community,” said Jean Broaddus, Chief Client Services Officer. “Our whole team is eagerly anticipating this year’s event, and has already begun discussing ways they can positively impact the school, and make it a better place for the children.”

Credico, the innovative leaders in outsourced sales, has set up a donation page, where members of the public can contribute much needed funds for the cause. The firm has set a target of $5,000 and will again match all funds raised.
