Eric Martin of Florida Business Consulting travels to the UK for action-packed Trip

This week, Managing Director at Florida Business Consulting, Eric Martin returned to the US following an action-packed week-long trip to the UK which saw the award-winning entrepreneur explore the sights of the UK’s capital and spend time with fellow business owners.

Mr. Martin flew into London on Monday, May 7th where he spent his first night enjoying a seven-course Indian meal at one of the capital city's Michelin star restaurants. The following day, the Florida Business Consulting owner traveled out to the countryside for a day of falconry and clay pigeon shooting with fellow business owners. In the evening, the group spent the night at the prestigious Playboy Club Casino. Midweek was another day of action as Mr. Martin attended the Chelsea Vs. Huddersfield game at Stamford Bridge. As an avid sports fan, particularly soccer and being a huge PSG fan, Mr. Martin was ecstatic to watch the Premier League game. 

Mr. Martin was one of a select group of business owners invited to attend the game in VIP style in the Tambling Suite, enjoying a VIP seat in the west middle tier, a two-course à la carte meal, sweet and savory snacks, complimentary drinks and a match day programme and team sheet. Thursday was more focused on networking with the CEO attending a team night with some of his business associates who run companies in London. The award-winning entrepreneur had the opportunity to socialize with like-minded professionals in a relaxed setting. On Friday, Mr. Martin traveled to London Bridge to meet with the firm who manage Florida Business Consulting’s online brand, brainstorming new ideas and sharing news about exciting upcoming events.

Saturday, May 12th was the standout event of the travel itinerary, with Mr. Martin attending the annual UK Sales & Marketing Awards Ceremony, held at the Royal Festival Hall. The event saw entrepreneurs and business owners from all over the UK descend on the capital for the ceremony, as well as some of the biggest names in the industry worldwide, flying in especially for the awards gala. The Florida Business Consulting CEO was incredibly motivated and inspired by the award winners and the speeches they gave and is excited to take back some of the information he acquired. After the ceremony came to a close, Mr Martin took advantage of his surrounding and mingled with the award winners, forging relationships with the hope to expand his network.

Speaking about the trip, Mr. Martin stated: “I had the most amazing time in the UK, mixing both business and pleasure and solidifying relationships with some of the top professionals in this industry and I am excited to get back to work and start applying some of the great information I acquired.”
