F.A.S.T. Global Marketing doubt whether entrepreneurship runs in the veins

The ‘born vs. Made’ debate regarding entrepreneurship and business ingenuity has long caused a divide in opinions, and Miami-based F.A.S.T. Global Marketing are the latest business to weigh in on the discussion.

F.A.S.T. Global Marketing: About the firm

Although the term gets bandied about a lot in present day business terminology, traditionally, entrepreneurs are regarded as opportunists who have the nous and vision to create an action plan to get from point A to point B in a way that others have not previously considered - or attempted.

When asked if entrepreneurship is a result of genetics, or a by-product of the surrounding environment - President of F.A.S.T. Global Marketing Tofiq Bolwala argued that maybe the question itself needs to be altered.

“I don’t think it’s about being ‘born’ an entrepreneur or not - some chose it by necessity, and some start a business out of ambition. The qualities and traits needed can be debated no end, but the tenacity to believe in your idea and never give up will trump talent every time,” answered Tofiq Bolwala.

Bolwala appears to lean towards the school of thought that doubts entrepreneurship to be an innate quality, but the business owner still thinks it’s possible to be born into an environment that encourages good business sense. The firm claim to be ‘flying the flag’ for entrepreneurship in Miami, and believe that there are a wide variety of individuals with amazing business acumen and Bolwala believes this comes from personality.

F.A.S.T. Global Marketing believe the question of whether entrepreneurship ‘runs in the veins’ gets skewed when looking to children for ‘entrepreneurial’ qualities, or those that separate themselves from their peers and the majority of their age groups. The firm believes that entrepreneurs are all different, and developed at different ages.

“While it’s true that some of the World’s most successful people have claimed entrepreneurship is a ‘state of mind’, I look towards those who claim they self-taught themselves the required skills and Gile to achieve success through adversity - not natural talent,” stated Tofiq Bolwala.

The President believes that the notion that entrepreneurship is inherited is a divisive thought - especially for those bred on the idea that with education, drive and hard work they can be anything they choose. Bolwala’s firm, F.A.S.T. Global Marketing, work closely with young professionals in the sales and marketing industry, in order to help them achieve their ambitious and often unique business goals.
