This month consultancy giant PwC released a statement outlining that it expects to hire more graduates outside the capital than ever before, as graduates lose interest in the London job market. A combination of existing student debt, rising costs of living and a lack of opportunity to progress was thought to be the catalyst for graduates turning their back on London and seeking opportunities in other UK cities such as Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester.
