Bury East councillor Trevor Holt, who has spent nearly half of his life as a councillor, serving the residents of Bury, is to be the 2019/20 Mayor of Bury. He is the second longest serving member of the council and was born and educated in East ward, which he has represented for 36 years since being elected in 1983.
