Colour me happy on the market

Three young shoppers earned a Christmas bonus by winning a colouring competition run by Bury and Radcliffe markets.

The competition ran for several weeks and was a great success, attracting hundreds of entries from those aged 3 to 10.

Grace Smith and Harry Brown and Lydia Roscoe, who all live in Radcliffe were the lucky winners of the Radcliffe Market Hall and Bury’s World Famous Market - Christmas Colouring Competition.

Grace Smith (aged 3), Harry Brown (6) and Lydia Roscoe (9), who all live in Radcliffe, each won a Christmas hamper which included a board game, books, novelty items, a selection box, sweets and a pair of reindeer antlers. Grace and Harry were presented with their prizes by Yasmin Ullah, senior markets officer, and Andrew Heyes, markets manager.
