Council by-elections to be held on 15 November

By-elections for Bury Council will be held on Thursday 15 November in the wards of Church and North Manor.

The elections have been caused by the resignations of councillors Bob Bibby and Jim Taylor, and take place on the same day as the Greater Manchester-wide vote for a Police and Crime Commissioner.

Anyone who wishes to stand for election must submit their nomination forms to the council’s elections office by 19 October. To request a postal vote, or to check if your name is on the voters’ roll, call the office on 0161 253 5252.
