Gas supplies affected in Unsworth/Sunnybank

National Grid have announced that the gas supply in the Chadderton Drive area of Unsworth has been affected.

This could affect up to 400 households, in some or all of the following streets:
Alexander Drive, Alkrington Close, Blackley Close, Brookdene Road, Chadderton Drive, Cunningham Drive, Dempsey Drive, Gort Close, Millom Drive, Montgomery Drive, Parr Fold, Parr Lane, Randale Drive, Rhodes Drive, Swinton Crescent, Thurston Close,Wavell Drive.

National Grid is working on site to resolve the problem, and is visiting affected homes to gain access to turn off/on the gas supply. Engineers will carry identity cards, and residents are urged to see those before letting the engineers into their homes.

National Grid have set up a helpline for residents - 0845 835 1111 - and will be updating communications on their website - www.nationalgrid.com
