Press release -

Helping to shape the future of adult care

Customers have been playing an important role in shaping the future of Bury’s adult care services.

They were joined by carers and partner organisations at Bury Town Hall to take part in three workshops and give their views on how to make services better for them.

The Adult Care Customer Task Force tried out ICare Community Meals, which drew many compliments.

The second workshop looked at the borough’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy with guest speaker Derek Burke, chief officer of Bury Third Sector Development Agency.

The last workshop asked members to say what they liked to do during the day, which will help inform adult care service’s day opportunities strategy.

For more information about the Adult Care Customer Task Force, call 0161 253 6021 or email AdultCareComms@bury.gov.uk
