Let’s run to a new fitness challenge

Celebrate National Running Day at an event in Bury that is open to people of all ages and fitness levels.

This free challenge takes place on Wednesday 5 June at Burrs Country Park, and you can set your targets from half a mile to three miles.

The run will be led by trained volunteers and helped by Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service. The session is especially suitable for beginners, who can use the event as a starting point to improve their fitness.

The run starts at 7 pm, although participants are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes beforehand.
