New Year walk in Chesham Local Nature Reserve

Press release -

New Year walk in Chesham Local Nature Reserve

It may be chilly outside but there are loads of things to see in Chesham Local Nature Reserve.

On Sunday 6 January there will be a guided walk with the Chesham Fold Green Gym. The annual walk gives people the chance to see what is happening in their local woods and to take in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. From grey squirrels to jelly ears, you will be amazed at how busy wildlife is in this green haven.

So why not get wrapped up, grab your camera and join us for a walk on the wildside? Meet at the Lido car park next to Clarence Park, off Walmersley Road, at 1.30pm. Refreshments will be served after the walk at the ranger base.

For further information contact Jacqui Goggs on 0161 253 7764 or j.goggs@bury.gov.uk
