Press release -

Special art exhibition at Bury Library

On Friday, 19 October at 10.30am a special exhibition will officially open at Bury Library.

The art exhibition has been created by members from Choices, part of Bury's Adult Mental Health Service which works with Bury NHS to provide a recovery plan for people with a range of mental health problems. Together, the services help people with a wide range of needs, from people suffering from depression and anxiety to those with more complex problems and gets them back into society and onwards to leading a fulfilling life.

One of the groups meet at Bury Art Museum for a fortnightly drawing class, led by Visitor Assistant Lee Crocker who said “The Exhibition is a showcase of the group’s work and demonstrates how the gallery has been an inspiration to them.  It is an exciting exhibition and I’m really proud of the level of work that has been achieved”.

The exhibition is free and can be viewed at all times when the library is open.
