Three wise men – and their camels!

Follow the road to Ramsbottom for a real festive Christmas treat on Sunday 23 December.

Stars of the show will be three camels, accompanied – naturally – by their three wise keepers, who will be at St Paul’s Church Gardens on Bridge Street.

Families can say hello to other animals such as hawks, owls and donkeys, and enjoy the Churches Together nativity scene, Christmas carols and Santa.

The event runs from 10.30am to 4pm. It’s certainly a change for the company who supply the camels – they have recently been working with pop stars One Direction and JLS at their recent video shoots!

Ruth Shedwick, from the council’s town centres team, said: “What better way to bring in the Christmas spirit than having camels in town? It’ll be a fantastic festive day for all the family.”
