Please avoid centre of Ramsbottom. Bridge St closed to vehicles and pedestrians. Radcliffe also badly affected, and some main roads to Bury closed (Dumers Lane and Bury Road). Also, please take care when out and about, and give the emergency services room to do their work
Motorists are being urged to avoid parts of Summerseat for the time being due to flooding. Of particular concern are Bass Lane and Rowlands Road. Emergency services are on site tackling the problems caused by rising river levels.
