Launch of homeless calendar NEW VENUE

The 2021 MyLondon calendar launch will now be taking place from 7.30am onwards at Ealing Broadway Station. Covid-19 safety regulations forced a change from Liverpool Street Station.

What: Homeless social enterprise MyLondon calendar raising money for Covid-19 support.

When: Thursday 17 September 7.30am -10.30am (we can stay later on request)

Cafe Art (UK) Community Interest Company is connects people affected by homelessness with the wider community through art. We hang artwork created in art groups run by homelessness sector organisations and hang it in independent cafes in London. We also run photography training with volunteers from the Royal Photographic Society and the annual MyLondon contest with disposable Fujifilm cameras.

Cafe Art is in the process of setting up a charity called MyWorld Photo Projects. The goal of the new charity will be to support new photographic projects, involving training in photography and entrepreneurial enterprises with participants affected by homelessness.

    With face-to-face sales cancelled, homeless photographers will earn 50% commission from online sales - £5 per calendar sold - of the 2021 MyLondon calendar being launched in Ealing Broadway Station on Thursday. The 30-day CROWDFUNDER will sell beautiful calendars and will also raise money for Local Covid-19 homeless initiatives related to helping keep people in housing and off the streets.
