British Farmer went on a 'guinea pig' trial at Barts Hospital, London in the 70s. He was the only one of 12 that survived and to this day Barts do not know why. When his weight plummeted to six stone he thought his number was up and he went to the Tate saw the 'Bricks' by Carl Andre. 40 years later he realised his dream and opened a gallery in Herefordshire with Carl Andre's bricks.
