Press release -

Moldova receiving applications for its Citizenship by Investment Programme

On the 5th of November, the Moldova Citizenship by Investment Programme was officially open to the public, officially accepting applications.

Co-founder of Malta-based law firm Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates, Dr Jean Philippe Chetcuti acknowledges the numerous advantages that families may benefit from, but also understands the difficulties that such persons may face, “Immigration is very often a highly sensitive issue, with a hundred and one facets which must be individually catered for, therefore, individuals must choose the right citizenship programme that best fits their needs”.

This programme proves ideal for individuals and their family who wish to widen their opportunities on both a personal and business level. This fast track method of citizenship will allow such applicants to experience political and economic stability within a country experiencing significant success and aiming to become an EU candidate.

The programme subjects its applicants to certain contribution requirements in the forms of donation to a public investment fund as well as a 4-tier due diligence test ensuring that they are of high standing. Once the process has been successfully completed, individuals acquire a passport which will provide them with the opportunity to travel visa-free to over 121 countries, the Schengen Area, Russia & Turkey.

By finally accepting applications, this programme is allowing individuals to invest and benefit from Moldova’s growing success.
