The Benedict Blythe Foundation received the Free From Hero Award 2026 for advancing allergic safety through Benedict's Law. The 19th Free From Awards celebrated innovation and excellence in the free-from food sector, highlighting various winners, including Schar and Warburtons Gluten Free. Tesco retained the crown as Retailer of the Year.
At the glamorous Free From Food Awards party in central London on Fri 21st June, those deliverers of disruption in the free from category, CRAVE, were crowned Free From Small Brand of the Year and their gluten and milk free snack, The Big Dipper, won the coveted title of Free From Food Product of the Year.
"The Walls Still Hold a Tune" Charity Fundraiser for Amnesty International is going to be held on the 21st of March at the Fox and Newt in Leeds. It will be evening of fine rock music from Paul Miro, supported by Polly Phluid (Idol Dead) and Ultraxine, and includes "The Raffle of Rock", with prizes including signed rock memorabilia from The Dowling Poole, The Eureka Machines and many more.
On June 6th Jackdaw4 will be celebrating the death of the band and perversely, the official commercial release day for their majestic new album ‘Dissecticide’, at London’s Borderline.
