COSTA ANNOUNCES A WAKE UP CALL FOR MOTORISTS IN CHESTER

Costa’s new Drive Thru store is due to roll into Chester in June with the promise of a seven days-a-week grab-and-go service of its signature coffee and food to local motorists.

The launch of the new Drive Thru at the end of June will bring 20 new jobs to the region, with management and baristas being recruited locally through other Costa sites and the Job Centre.

Having launched its first Drive Thru in May 2011 in Nottingham, Costa has since added another four concept sites with the new store at Chester Deva Retail Park, Greyhound Park Rd, Chester marking the first opening of a Costa Drive Thru in the North West.

The new site will offer motorists coffee and food with internal and outdoor seating, park-up-and-go facility and a drive through counter. This will truly offer the regions drivers a chance to grab a coffee on-the-go at any time of the day.

Jon Ingram, Regional Manager for Costa in the North West said: “We are thrilled to be opening our first Costa Drive Thru store in Chester. As well as bringing new employment opportunities to the city, we feel this is a great opportunity to demonstrate the quality and passion that goes into every single cup of Costa’s coffee, all of which is hand-crafted by expert baristas.

“The Drive Thru will offer people the chance to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee before continuing on with their journey − during the day or night.”

With over £300,000 invested in the new store, the team at Costa is looking forward to officially opening the doors to the public at the end of June.

Jon continued: “We have spent the last five months making sure that everything will be perfect for our launch day and look forward to the opportunity to become part of Chester’s community. We have a real passion for coffee and are excited by the chance to share this with our regions motorists.”
