COSTA COFFEE LAUNCHES FRESH NEW MENU FOR JANUARY

The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop*, Costa Coffee, is starting the New Year with an exciting new food and drink menu to help ease the January blues. In stores from Thursday 3 January, with new sandwiches from Thursday 10 January, the range features delicious drinks and tasty sweet and savoury menu options.

Vanilla Latte | Newmilk and alternativeoptions

Costa Coffee is joining thousands of others and getting into the Veganuary spirit, introducing two new free-from milk options; Almond Drink and Semi-Skimmed Lactofree Milk. To celebrate, Costa has re-imaginedyour favourite Vanilla Latte to be enjoyed three ways– theVanilla Coconut Latte,Vanilla Almond LatteandVanilla Lactofree Latte.

This smooth winter warmer is packed full of flavour and all three variants of the Vanilla Latte will be available from Thursday 3 January.

Costa Coffee is now the only high street coffee shop in the UK to offer a Lactofree Milk with the two new additions taking its impressive portfolio of milk options to seven, offering customers a range of dietary preferences and tastes even more choice. The milk range also provides a variety of delicious flavour varieties, giving customers even more ways to enjoy great coffee.

Tasty Treats | Delicious desserts to keep January blues at bay

Christmas may be a distant memory, but there’s still plenty to be excited about as Costa Coffee is delighting customers with a delicious range of sweet treats. Costa is staying true to its roots with theCoffee, Walnut & Pecan Cake– three layers of soft coffee sponge with an irresistible coffee infused icing and topped with walnuts and pecans.

Also new and available until April is an Easter-themed treat that will have kids and adults alike jumping for joy. TheHopping Bunny Gingerbreadis a lightly spiced seasonal biscuit, and at just £1.65 each, they are sure to be hopping off the shelves in no time.

In more good news for sweet-toothed customers, theOrange, Pistachio & Polenta Cakeis back by popular demand. Made with ground almonds and polenta, and injected with tangy orange curd, it has a wonderful balance of bitter and sweet. Also returning is theLemon Curd Tart, which is now zestier than ever.

Breakfast and Lunch | New year, new sandwiches

Costa Coffee is revolutionising its lunchtime options with the introduction of three new classic sandwich flavours, includingBritish Smoked Ham & Cheese,British Roast Chicken & BaconandPole & Line Tuna & Sweetcorn. TheFree Range Egg Mayonnaise Sandwichhas also had a makeover, with the new recipe ensuring the same great taste but a more affordable price point for customers. All new sandwiches are available from Thursday 10 January.

Another product with a new recipe for 2019 is theVeggie Breakfast Pot. This high in protein breakfast is made up of baked beans, free range scrambled eggs, roasted mushrooms and cheddar cheese, and now provides customers with one of their recommended five a day.

Completing the savoury line up for January are some returning favourites including theChicken & Bacon Toastie,Brie & Bacon Panini,Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Paniniplus the fan-favouriteMac & Cheesewill all be back on shelves.

Breakfast Meal Deal | Pastries for just £1

January can be a frugal time for many, but Costa Coffee is helping customers out with the introduction of a new addition to the Coffee Plus Menu. Pastries, including the All Butter Croissant, Pain Aux Raisin and Chocolate Twist are now just £1 with the purchase of any medio or massimo hot drink or Flat White before 11am(Ts&Cs apply).

CostaCoffee’s two previous breakfast meal deals will be continuing into January too, meaning customers can purchase a British Beechwood Smoked Bacon Roll or a Scrambled Egg & Mushroom Muffin for just £2 with the purchase of any medio or massimo hot drink or Flat White until 11am

A spokesperson atCostaCoffeesaid:“There’s a huge growing trend for vegan and free-from products, and the introduction of Almond Drink and Lactofree Milk will ensure our customers have as much choice as possible and that everybody is catered for.”

“We’ve also brought in some fantastic new breakfast and lunch options to ease the pain of heading back to work after the Christmas break and hopefully our delicious cakes, and sweet treats can make January a little bit more enjoyable too!”
